New primary schemes of learning
We’re excited to announce version 3.0 of our primary schemes of learning. We've learned a great deal over the years and received a wealth of feedback from our amazing community of teachers.
As always, we have listened and taken into account the latest curriculum guidance to bring you this new, updated progression and sequence of small steps. You’ll be pleased to hear these will remain completely FREE for teachers to plan from.
Key changes
Our key changes document sets out the key changes to the steps in the autumn term of our schemes.
For each year group, we look at:

any changes to the blocks, such as order and timings

the changes to each individual block, directly comparing the steps in version 2.0 and the steps in version 3.0.

To help you monitor understanding and progress throughout the year, we also provide end of block and end of term assessments.
