We’re now into our third year supporting the National Tutoring Programme in helping disadvantaged children across England. This project aims to make up for learning time lost due to the Covid-19 closures with high quality, subsidised tutoring to meet each pupil’s needs.
Choose from our ‘Core’ programme or our new ‘Confident with Number’ programme.
Our remit is to provide high-quality tutoring (both face-to-face and online) for at least 2,500 pupils across England.
We have an exceptional tutor team with talented individuals who meet our high expectations. Every tutor takes part in an intensive training programme with our team of maths specialists before we deploy them to their tutoring roles. This training programme continues throughout the academic year.
“I cannot recommend this service enough for primary schools looking to bridge the learning gap. The quality of the tutor is exceptional, with Danielle bonding extremely well with every student and getting the most out of each session. She was completely flexible to our needs, professional and engaging. I would also like to commend the team in the back office as the communications between them and us is to an exceptionally high standard.”

"Our White Rose Maths tutor has been great, and the students trust her and are really engaged. The pre- and post-assessments to date show an improvement in excess of 30% where students had good attendance. We would like to use the service next year, and now we have seen the methods and schemes used, we will use other White Rose Maths resources to enhance maths provision."
Deputy Head, Todmorden High School
“Overall, we have found the tutoring service extremely positive. It is a high-quality service delivered professionally and using a method the children find engaging. This activity was about closing the gaps and making sure the basics are secured, and we feel confident we are achieving this by working with White Rose Maths.”
