Exciting news! Pearson and White Rose Maths have worked in partnership to power up Power Maths, their whole-class mastery programme recommended by the DfE* and designed to spark curiosity and excitement and help you nurture confidence in maths.
We’ve worked in tandem to develop updated Power Maths print and digital resources for Years 1–6, fully aligned with the new White Rose Maths schemes of learning and with teacher feedback at the heart of the changes. You’ll be able to use Power Maths 2.0 alongside the new White Rose Maths schemes of learning from this September.
*Power Maths KS1 and KS2 have been judged by the DfE panel to meet the core criteria for a
high-quality textbook.
Power Maths provides everything you need for your lesson, in digital and print format, so you can concentrate on explaining the key concepts and supporting firm understanding. To stimulate curiosity, each lesson begins with a problem in context, which children explore with manipulatives. The teacher then leads a discussion where children share their methods and are guided towards the best pictorial representation. Next, throughout the guided practice and independent practice tasks, each question is carefully designed to build children's understanding step by step.

- Textbooks & Practice Books: Rich textbooks provide a coherent structure through the curriculum and support children on their journey towards deeper understanding. The Practice Books use variation theory to embed fluency and deep understanding during independent practice.
- Teacher Guides: Expert support for your day-to-day teaching, including how to provide extra stretch or support for children during each lesson.
Using Power Maths and White Rose Maths together
