White Rose Maths, in conjunction with the Department for Education, are excited to offer high-quality and relevant CPD for FE Post-16 Maths GCSE resit/FSQ teachers. The CPD and bespoke support will contribute to teachers developing their individual teaching practice and positively influence practice within their FE provider. This will lead to improved outcomes for students.
This 14-month CPD programme is free. Costs associated with releasing teachers to attend modules will also be supported.
This 14-month CPD programme is rooted in the research-based mastery approach to teaching maths and is specifically designed for FE teachers of 16 – 19 GCSE resit/FSQ learners of maths. At the core of the programme are three interlinked stages of learning.
Embedding sustainable practice is supported through bespoke ‘deliberate practice’ activities and up to 10 days of time with a White Rose Maths coach.

The first of these meetings will be online and will be supported by a Programme Lead. At this meeting, a lead for future meetings will be identified so that the group becomes self-sustaining.
