It arrives courtesy of the wonderful team at Bett, who announced us as this year’s winner for ‘Primary – Free Digital Content, App or Open Educational Resource’ at their annual expo in London.
Not only have we met some incredible people at the 3-day event this week, with hundreds coming to our stand to learn all about what we do to help children, teachers and parents with maths, but this accolade from the leaders in Ed-Tech events has topped off our trip south perfectly!
“…the mathematics content offered by White Rose Maths enables a mastery-based approach practical for all primary schools. Judges were very impressed by recent additions to this free resource, including the digital manipulatives and the one-minute practice app. Feedback from schools showed this teacher-led resource continues to be held in very high esteem.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
Of course, while we’re a relatively humble lot, this award is certainly one the team feels happy to shout about. It’s a genuine pat on the back to everyone involved as we continue to work extremely hard on creating resources that benefit primary school children to gain confidence in maths. New ideas in this sector are expected as we move more towards digital provision, and innovation is clearly what our teachers and parents are keen to see. Indeed, the response to our 1-Minute Maths app speaks volumes, with over 2 million downloads and more every day. To have these incredible, free of charge resources recognised and commended by industry experts is a cherry on the cake moment for us and makes our tireless efforts all the more worthwhile.
“What an absolute honour to have received this award from Bett – the team is thrilled to bits! Everyone involved with producing our free resources, like the 1-Minute Maths app, can feel extremely proud knowing they are helping grow children’s maths learning from an early age. We thank the millions of teachers and parents globally for continuing to believe in our products.”
