We’ve only gone and won it!

We’re over the moon to announce that at last Friday’s awards ceremony held by Bett (the British Educational Training and Technology Show), we were chosen as the Winner of the Covid-19 Response Champions (UK Company) Award!
We’d hardly dared to hope that we might win this unusual and very special accolade, which relates to the work done between the initial school closures in March 2020 through to September. After all, we knew that a huge number of other UK companies were also in the running for the award, and even when we were shortlisted, we were up against some amazing competitors including BBC Children’s & Education, LGfL (The National Grid for Learning) and Oxford University Press!
However, in choosing White Rose Maths (WRM), the judges particularly commended several features, including the speed of our response to the sudden lockdown in March and the fact that we built on our high quality resources that were already in place, and familiar to so many pupils. All in all, the help and support, daily videos, schemes of learning, summer curriculum, worksheets and answers, webinars, fun events like the Maths Party and Friday Family Challenges and other offerings won the day and we’re both grateful and honoured to receive this prestigious award.
However, without you, there would be no White Rose Maths, and so this award is most certainly for you, too! We’d like to thank every pupil, parent, carer, teacher and practitioner in our wonderful worldwide WRM family who’s made use of our materials and supported us along the way. You are AMAZING!
